Wednesday 20 June, godmother Mrs. Ingelore Hering of the Lower Saxony Ministry for the Environment, Energy, Building and Climate Protection named the vessel Acta Auriga. Auriga being one of the stellar constellations in the northern hemisphere. The ceremony took place at Südkai Emden. Many guests attended the festivities and the tours on board the brand new vessel.
