Finance Administrator

Are you an experienced finance professional looking for your next challenge? At Acta Marine, we are seeking a motivated Administrator Finance to join our team and play a key role in our daily financial operations.

As an Administrator Finance, you will support the Manager Finance by processing and resolving issues related to various accounting and financial transactions. This role is integral to the smooth, efficient, and accurate functioning of our finance department.

In this role, you will execute daily accounting tasks, assist with financial reporting, and ensure that all financial processes are compliant with company policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing invoices.
• Execute and maintain financial and administrative processes.
• Assist in the creation of financial reports.
• Coordinate with the operations department on credit management.
• Oversee and manage individual accounts.
• Reconcile any discrepancies or errors by communicating with employees and/or suppliers about invoices.
• Review and audit financial statements and reports, ensuring all calculations and data entries are correct.
• Report any suspicious activities or discrepancies to the appropriate authorities. 
• Ensure adherence to the company’s financial policies and procedures.
• Provide assistance and support to stakeholders, customers, and clients as needed.
• Suggest improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in financial operations.

Job Requirements

• Education: Secondary degree (MBO/HBO) in business administration, finance, or accounting required.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with data privacy standards and financial software; knowledge of Business Central is a plus.
• Industry Knowledge: Affinity with the offshore and maritime industry.
• Technical Skills: Strong communication skills in both English and Dutch.
