Zakum project Abu Dhabi
The Lida and the Coastal Rambler were deployed for the Upper Zakum Project, in which they executed various operations.
The Zakum oil field is one of the five largest oil fields in the world. The Survey Catamaran Lida carried out survey operations during the construction of four artificial islands in the Zakum oil field. The Coastal Rambler provided all-round assistance during dredging, the towage of Barges, and anchor handling. Last year this Shoalbuster 2609 also operated at Sarb Island and Zirku Island.
This project had a duration of three years, was completed in 2014, and consisted of: survey operations, dredging activities, towage of Barges and anchor handling.
