Wheatstone LNG project
The DP1 Ultra Shallow Draft Support Vessel Coastal Challenger is operated for dredging during the Wheatstone LNG Project.
The Wheatstone LNG Project was concerned with the dredging of an access channel, development of the turning basin and the moorings. The project was carried out according to strict environmental standards on the northwest coast of Australia. The Coastal Challenger was active on the Wheatstone LNG Project with two Pacific Tug workboats.
This project was executed in cooperation with Pacific Tug, had a duration of three years, and was completed in March 2015. The work consisted of: assistance during dredging, relocating dredging equipment, towing and pushing of Hopper Barges, delivery of fuel and providing supplies.
