New Port project Qatar
The project New Port at Qatar consisted of the dredging of an access channel and the reclamation of land for a naval base.
For this project, Coastal Enterprise was used to link and tow floating pipes. The DP Ultra Shallow Draft Support Vessel furthermore assisted during the relocation of Barges and dredgers’ anchors. The majority of the operations took place in shallow waters, which resulted in the all-round assistance of the Coastal Enterprise during the project.
This project had a duration of two years, was completed in 2014, and consisted of: linking and towing floating pipes, assistance during the relocation of Barges and dredgers’ anchors and all-round assistance during the project.
