Coastal Guardian, Coastal Service and Sara Maatje XIV at work in St.Petersburg.
Our ships Coastal Guardian, Coastal Service and Sara Maatje XIV left Harlingen on the 24th of April for an ongoing project in St. Petersburg in Russia.
They arrived safely on the 30th and started working on the Rosmor project. Each year since 2005, Acta Marine vessels have been supplying support services on this project during the ice-free working period.
The scope of work for the Coastal Guardian and Sara Maatje XIV is assisting several dredgers and laying sinkerlines. The Coastal Service is chartered for survey work. The project comprises of deepening the Petrovsky Channel and dredging a new entry channel to a newly reclaimed harbour and cruise ship terminal.
