Contract for 3 vessels to support major port construction project Germany.

Acta Marine Waterweg has been awarded a long-term contract to supply support services with three vessels for the construction of the JadeWeser Port project at Wilhelmshaven, Germany.
The workboats will assist the reclamation and port construction works of a consortium of German contractors. Acta Marine Waterweg will deploy the newbuild workboats Coastal Hunter and Coastal Warrior on the project. The third vessel to be deployed by us will be chartered in from another company. The project commences in the spring of 2008 and is expected to last almost 3 years. The JadeWeser Port will accommodate a mega deepwater container terminal with a logistics area on 360 hectares of newly reclaimed land.
