HS Crane for Coastal Roamer

6 September 2022

Acta Marine has placed a HS Marine AKC 100 HE3 crane on board her Shoalbuster Coastal Roamer.

Acta Marine purchased this shallow draft vessel with unique dimensions of 25 x 8 meter and an operational draft of only 1,9 mtrs back in 2019, and has recently completed a two year contract, towing rock barges on the Afsluitdijk project in The Netherlands.

Dennis Bras, Acta Marine’s commercial director comments: “For towing barges a crane on this vessel was not a requirement, but most other jobs available on the spot market for workboats require crane capacity. We now have options to do all kind of project related works.” The vessel was already equipped with a towing-/ anchor handling winch with 50 tons holding force, towing pins and 25 tons “Tugpin” shark jaws. Bras continues: “Combined with the 20 tons bollard pull capacity this is the ideal boat to work in shallow areas with medium sized dredging equipment. We’re looking forward to receive inquiries.”
