Coastal Chariot – Fourth continent in three years
Illustrating Acta Marine’s global coverage is one of the company’s Multicats – Coastal Chariot. Currently en route to a new project in Egypt, this 37-metre long vessel has certainly earned her stripes since joining the Acta Marine fleet as a new-build just three years ago.
In that short space of time, vessel and crew have successfully completed anchor handling, DP Vibe core support, DP ROV Support, towing, DP grouting support and, last but not least, dredging support jobs all around the world.
Wherever she has worked – whether it’s West Africa, South America or Europe – Coastal Chariot has called on her considerable versatility to get the job done. Her shallow water capabilities, for example, can be seen in the accompanying photo where she is working as a dive support platform for a near-shore oil & gas project. And, with recently upgraded accommodation for up to six clients or contractors, Coastal Chariot is suitable for a wide range of contracts.
